- This summer, the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, Calif., will display 10 unique floral arrangements called silletas inspired by Colombian culture and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto.” Each silleta represents a different Business Employee Resource Group (BERG) comprised of cast members at the Disneyland Resort and across The Walt Disney Company. This silleta represents The Walt Disney Company’s SHALOM BERG, which celebrates the stories and identities of our Jewish employees and cast members while fostering advocacy, education, inclusivity and allyship. This silleta honors the Disneyland Resort PRIDE BERG, fostering an environment where all LGBTQIA+ cast members feel encouraged to be their true, authentic selves. The PRIDE BERG advocates, celebrates and educates on behalf of their community, supporting a culture of authenticity and inclusivity to ensure everyone is included.
